Desktop Zero has been around for quite a few years
now and has certainly evolved and grown since the begining. It started
as just an extra section on my video game strategy site, but I lost
intrest in that and continued with the wallpapers and everything
else you see here.
Here are the previous layouts I've used for DZ, starting with the
latest and working back to the first --> |

#9: Grundge Tech |
I really liked how everything came together on this one.
Not usually a big fan of mixing grundge and tech, but
I think they blended very well here. I think this version
made me a permenant fan of iFrames too XD

#8: Horizontal Done Right |
I liked this version MUCH more then my last attempt at a horizontal
layout. It wasn't restricting like the last one, it fit better
between different resolution and I just liked it more. The iframes
made things quite a bit easier also.

#7: Full View Tech |
This was a bit simpler then the rest, not so much going on, but
it had a feel I liked. It had a nice scaling feature that made
it fit any huge resolution, and still fit snug in an 800x600 res.

#6: Grundge |
Ever so dirty and yet still easy on the eyes ^_^
That's what I like about grunge and finally I used that for my
sites layout. And good ol blue...

 |
| #5: More Techy Chrome |
I wanted to try a right-aligned layout this time, and I really
liked how it came out. It was an easy to update and use layout,
and the techy aspect was kinda fun to make aswell.

 |
| #4: Horizontal ^_^ |
I went with a completely different style on this one. I really
liked the overall design, but it was so restricting in what I
could put on each page, it's no wonder it hardly lasted more than
a month...

 |
| #3: Chrome Version |
This one has a lot in common with some sites I made a long time
ago, but done in a MUCH better way. I really liked the design
of this one, but it did get a bit empty in larger resolutions.

| #2: Revamp of 1 |
Ah, versoin 2... this wasn't much more than a slight change,
almost just a redecorating. The layout stayed the same and little
else changed.

This was the first "real" layout. Just before this, DZ was no
more than the wallpaper gallery of "Zero's Gaming Universe." Now
I'm glad I went with a wallpaper site instead of a game site ^_^
